Q : What does “Draugr” means? Why you use a nordic monicker if you play song with italic thematics?

A : “Draugr” means “wolf in Sindarin (search Tolkien’s languages) but joining ghe wolf’s figure (an animal that is the symbol of Abruzzo as well as the symbol of Rome) to the nordic world (as a tribute to the Scandinavian scene , that first inspired Draugr’s music) of a creature that turns back to life for vengeance .
We kept the final letter “r” also to give a cacophonic sound (for italian standards).
The word “Draugr” , in spite of his meaning relatedd to the Nordic mythology , is related to the wolf.

A : We are firmly outside from any political message of any kind , left or right winged.
Lyrics and everything about Draugr are about nature , our region (Abruzzo) folkore, history , local legends and obviously … hard drinkings!!!
